SOLID WOOD FLOORING PROCESS

Step 1 – Log Selection
Mature hardwood logs such as Teak, Walnut, Merbau, Jatoba, Oak, and Ipe are selected.
Logs are graded based on size, straightness and defects.
Step 2 – Sawing
Logs are cut into planks using different sawing methods:
Plain Sawn
Quarter Sawn
Rift Sawn
Step 3 – Kiln Drying
Moisture is reduced from 30–60% to about 8–12%.
Proper drying prevents warping and cracking.
Step 4 – Grading
Boards are sorted according to appearance, knots, color variation and grain pattern.
Step 5 – Machining
Tongue-and-groove / Click System profiles are cut.
Boards are sanded and precision finished.
Step 6 – Finishing
Natural oil, UV lacquer or matte coatings are applied.
Flooring is packed and acclimatized before installation.
